As Director of Membership for the University of San Diego's chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), I led strategic efforts to double our paid membership year-over-year. By developing and executing targeted promotional campaigns, I helped drive student engagement and surpassed our paid membership goal by over 150%. I served as the primary point of contact for all members, providing ongoing support, answering questions, and ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
In collaboration with the executive board, I helped plan and implement initiatives that strengthened both recruitment and retention, including campus tabling events, speaker series, and agency treks. This leadership role not only enhanced my skills in communication, strategy, and community-building, but also deepened my passion for empowering students through professional development and meaningful connections.
